REGAL SIMPSONVILLE & IMAX

780 South Street, Simpsonville, SC 29681

This is the Simpsonville theater—not Fountain Inn. The 14-screen complex opened in 2010 and includes an IMAX auditorium. It offers reserved stadium seating, digital presentation and a much larger, louder experience than a small neighborhood theater. This is the location to watch when an older movie receives an IMAX rerelease.

Older Movies Status: ACTIVE

Participating in Regal’s classic and special-event programming. Zodiac is scheduled for September 18. Recent screenings include Akira 4K in IMAX, The Truman Show, Cars, Halloween III, The Nutty Professor and Steel Magnolias. Do not imply that every classic movie will be presented in IMAX; the customer must check the listed format.

CAMELOT CINEMAS

48 East Antrim Drive, Greenville, SC 29607

Camelot is Greenville’s independently owned hometown theater. The original theater opened in 1970, and the building still has more local personality than a modern chain multiplex. It is smaller, friendly and relaxed, with beer and wine available. New leather reclining seats were added in 2026. Tickets are currently listed at $5 all day Tuesday.

Older Movies Status: WATCH LIST

Camelot is presently showing mostly current first-run movies, and no regular classic-film series has been found. It still belongs in this guide because of its history, atmosphere and potential for an occasional special booking.
